The department builds and maintains constructive relationships with department Heads and managers at all levels to provide them with high-quality, well-supported technology that meets their business needs and supports their business processes. Also, to manage the Agency’s relationship with relevant ICT vendors and suppliers to ensure proper system integration services, efficient delivery, and fulfillment of user requirements.
Key Functions
- Provide technical sourcing and selection of appropriate vendors for ICT modules relevant to the Scheme.
- Develop and monitor compliance with the Agency’s ICT policies and procedures
- Maintain the security and integrity of data held in the NGSHCS database.
- Ensure that appropriate measures are taken to secure and backup all systems and data.
- Manage all ICT projects, ensuring that they are delivered to required standards and on time in order to provide high-quality ICT systems and services.
- Develop and implement any plans, systems and measures necessary to support business continuity and to ensure that the Agency’s disaster recovery strategy is up-to-date and deliverable.
- Ensure that the contact centre infrastructure and facilities are functional and able to support customer care activities.
- Review IT Service level agreements with vendors and evaluate vendor performance.
